This fabric is extremely lightweight, weighing approximately 30-35g/m2 (0.9g/yd2), making it feather-light.
It is woven with fine yarns of 20 denier or less at a high density.
While being lightweight, it also has excellent tear strength and seam strength relative to its weight, making it suitable for shell jackets and providing sufficient strength even in harsh environments.
